Crystal Beach Resort - San Narciso, Zambales

Went to Crystal Beach Resort yesterday. It was OKAY - I guess. I love the beach but this is something I wouldnt do again. Being that I live in Cavite - its not worth it for a day trip. Longer stays perhaps YES. I was thinking that the trip fr Cubao to Iba Zambales was 24/7 with Victory, I got there at 0115 16th Feb but they apparently arent. Bus first trip to Iba is at 5am. There is an Olongapo bus but first trip at 0100 I just missed. So I took the next trip at 0300. Ticket was at 207Php. Then I took another bus from Olongapo to San Narciso - Ticket was 70Php. Got me there at 0700. Then took a tricycle from San Narciso to the resort at 30Php. The staff were nice and mind me they do reply on emails ( I emailed them a day before for the entrance fee and locker details ) Entrance is 195 for day trip and they have a few lockers that goes on first come first serve basis as long as you bring your own padlock I was starved so first thing I did was eat a huge breakfast. Food was good.

I find the beach really nice and well maintained. The resort though is a different case. It was too scattered for me - everything is everywhere. I was looking for the comfort room to change and saw the one near the camp site -went in on the comfort room ( common CR B/G) it was designed like a cave of some sort - there was a poop! Campers can sometimes be GRRR! Rest of the experience was okay. The surfing crew was nice. They talked to me and make jokes to entertain as they knew I came alone. 6 hours stay was well enough for me. Left at 1300.

Going home was weird. The rate has changed. Tricycle was 20, bus from San Narciso to Cubao changed at 305Php and it stopped at Ologapo terminal for about 30mins. I got home in Cavite at 9pm. Come to think of it, its a gruesome 8 hour travel back home - yayks! for a 6 hour pleasure - not doing this again.
